1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NDT Logbook application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NDT Logbook is a digital tool for Non-Destructive Testing professionals to track inspection hours, manage certifications, and generate documentation in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A standards. The Service is provided as-is for record-keeping and organizational purposes.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Data and Content

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including log entries, certifications, and profile information.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• We do not verify the accuracy of logged hours, certifications, or other data entered by users.

5. Verification System

The Service includes a verification workflow that sends requests to signing technicians via email and SMS. You represent that you have the right to provide the contact information of any technician you designate as a verifier. Misuse of the verification system, including submitting false or fraudulent entries, is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.

7. Disclaimer

NDT Logbook is a record-keeping tool and does not constitute official certification, qualification, or authorization to perform NDT work. The Service does not replace employer-specific written practice programs, ASNT certification bodies, or regulatory requirements. Users are responsible for ensuring their qualifications comply with all applicable standards and regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. NDT Logbook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Data Export and Portability

You may export your data at any time using the built-in export functionality. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data from our active systems within 30 days.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
